The following is information on my policies regarding the procedures for confirming and cancellation of services.

Procedure to hire us:

  1. Complete an inquiry form on our website, filling in all relevant information.
  2. We will send you a short form to provide more specific information
  3. We will schedule a phone call, zoom, or other calls to review your requirements.
  4. Once we have that conversation and agree on terms, a 50% non-refundable deposit must be paid to proceed.
  5. A brief contract will be provided noting the date, time, and type of service and what is included and excluded from the agreement.
  6. Once the agreement is returned the date and time are reserved for you.
  7. No changes to the agreement will be made unless requested in writing.

Cancellation By Us

While it is exceedingly rare that I will need to cancel, if I do so I will return all the funds paid by you. Some possible reasons for cancellation include:

  • An unforeseen accident or illness
  • A weather-related event that makes it impossible

No other money beyond those noted above will be paid.

I will make every reasonable attempt to find an appropriate substitute. However, I make no guarantee that I can do so.

Cancellation By You

The purpose of your deposit is to allow me to reserve your date and time and to turn down counteroffers for your date, including more lucrative counteroffers when they arise.

Therefore, refunds of deposits and fees due to client cancellations are offered at my discretion in the context of unusual or unforeseen circumstances. Some examples of a cancellation by you:

  • An extreme weather event necessitated cancellation
  • Documented cancellation of the wedding at least 72 hours before the scheduled service
